Regatta of Traditional Madeiran Canoes

Funchal´s hosts another edition of the Traditional Madeiran Canoes Regatta (fishing boats), an event organized by Funchal’s Town Hall and the Madeira Regional Canoeing Association, in collaboration with the Madeira Sports for All Association.

This competition has a 2.5km route, starting and finishing at the dock of Funchal, goes all the way to the beach of Barreirinha, in the city’s Old Town.
