Queen Symphony Concert

The Conservatory – School of Arts of Madeira, in collaboration with the Municipality of Calheta, the Military Band of Madeira and the Chamber Choir of Madeira, will present tomorrow, June 13th, at 9 pm, at the Calheta Recreational Port, the impressive work “The Queen Symphony”, by composer Tolga Kashif, inspired by the legendary British band Queen.

The concert will bring together on stage the Wind Orchestras of the Conservatory, the Youth Choir of the Conservatory, the Military Band of Madeira and the Chamber Choir of Madeira, in a fusion of symphonic grandeur and the energy of rock. This show, part of the Festas do Concelho da Calheta, will be conducted by the choral conductor Zélia Gomes, while the orchestral direction will be taken over by Lieutenant Luís Afonso.
