Porto Santo Municipal Festivities – Saint John’s Festivities

Saint John’s festivities are the biggest tourist attraction on the island, as they represent the genuine traditions of a people with their very own culture. They include various activities: the sports programme opens the festivals and the cultural programme runs from 20 to 24 June. A parade of popular marches takes place on the night of 23 to 24 June.
Porto Santo presents a wide range of entertainment and culture that will include the traditional St. John’s Altar, food and drink stalls and the typical delicacies of the festivities in Alameda Infante D. Henrique.
