Madeira Wine Rally

The Madeira Sports Club promotes the historic Madeira Wine Rally – the largest motor racing event in the Region and a sporting event that attracts many who are curious and passionate about motorsports, gathering along the regional roads to watch the cars pass by and see the skill of the drivers.The rally begins on Thursday at 19:30 with the spectacular Super Special Stage at Avenida do Mar. Over the next days, the cars will face stages in the areas of Santo da Serra, Poiso, Ribeiro Frio, Highlands of Funchal, Machico and Santana. During the last day, the cars race to the North and West areas of the island with stages passing through Câmara de Lobos, Ponta do Sol, Ponta do Pargo and Encumeada. The event finishes on Saturday with the podium arrival and subsequent prize giving, at around 18:00.
