The Casa do Povo of Paul do Mar annually promotes this important popular event, that intends to promote the cultural heritage of this parish located in the municipality of Calheta. This festival promotes a kind of shellfish very popular in Madeiran gastronomy – “Lapa” (limpet).Lots of food and beverage stalls will invite you to sample this famous delicacy with entertainment in the evenings from local musicians.
