Jazz em Caminhos

The Jazz em Caminhos exhibition is an invitation to take a retrospective journey through the history of jazz in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, from the beginning of the last century to the present day.nThree different modules have been mapped out thematically, illustrating the unique relationship between the artistic and musical expression and the region, throughout the entire chronological line: Jazz as a musical genre performed in different spaces and contexts in the region; the teaching of jazz in Madeira and, finally, its current reality with a look towards the future.nThe exhibition will be open to the public from October 31st to November 15th, in the exhibition room of the Casa da Cultura de Santa Cruz  , in the Municipality of Santa Cruz, from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.nnThis initiative is free of charge.
