Funchal Marathon

The Madeira Athletics Association (AARAM) promotes this major international sporting event.The event consists of three main races, the Funchal Marathon, the Funchal Half Marathon and the Mini Marathon.
This race will once again be run on a flat course, almost entirely on a closed landscaped circuit, offering the perfect setting for healthy competition between athletes from different nationalities. Although classed as a winter marathon, runners will experience warm Spring condtions.
The races are open to all and cost €8 for the Mini; €15 for the Half and €30 for the Full marathon. All participants receive a Race Shirt, personalised Bib, Finishers Medal and Certificate.
