The Madeira Mandolin Association is holding the 9th edition of the Madeira International Mandolin Festival from 15 to 17 November at the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre, a unique meeting of the public with the most varied forms of mandolin playing internationally.
The quality and quantity of musicians who take part in this festival have made this event a reference as one of the largest in the world of its kind. Starting from Madeira, which has a centuries-old tradition in mandolin, to the world, Madeiran orchestras and tunas will meet with projects by world-renowned artists in a single celebration of the mandolin.
